  • Choose a move leader and a moving team. Draw an organizational chart to identify your moving team and how it’s organized.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Target a move date and hold your first team meeting. Also create a formal employee-relocation policy that specifies what the company will and won’t do for workers related to the move.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Hold your first company-moving meeting.\u00a0 Announce the move and the reasons for it.\u00a0 Solicit employee feedback about the move Request suggestions.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Place a purchasing hold on new stationary and inventory. Begin tracking moving expenses.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Order telephone books and phone lines for the new space. Ask if you can keep existing phone numbers.<\/span><\/li>\n
